Works just as described.
My wife and I love this car phone holder. The picture shows how we have it mounted in our 2022 Mercedes Benz GLC300. The position shown allows maximum windshield viewing while driving. It grips the mirror well and has no wobble or wiggled worth worrying about. I think it allows better freedom of movement for driver and passenger. I also believe it is safer than suction cup devices I've used recently which take up much more windshield space.
